    Alesund is a lovelly town overlooked by Aksla which the tour books tell you is 418 steps to the top; don't let that put you off as there many ways to the top including tour train or taxi at £20pp. The...  more »

    Totally worth the climb up the 400+ stairs. Beautiful views of the city. To avoid the crowds from cruise ships, go before they dock or after they weigh anchor.  more »
