Chollima Statue reminds residents of the fast development of the country. The monument shows a horse, a man, and a woman riding it. The couple symbolize the working class, who worked at the "Chollima speed." The horse, believed to have travelled 400 km (about 250 mi) a day, stands for the Chollima movement, which encouraged fast economic development. Built as a gift to Kim II-sung, the site also boasts beautiful greenery surrounding the site, which provides for a pleasant stroll to enjoy the landscape.   • Everything in DPRK has to be grand and this is yet another massive statue on a grand scale. This one at least with considerable artistic appeal. 
  • The story of this warrior that ride thousands of Km to defend the land is amazing. Its also important for North Koreans. Thats why he is next to the great leaders
