  • Ometepe Island is a very cool and varied place to visit, meaning you will want some independent transportation of sorts once you are there. It is home to two volcanoes and some amazing beaches. The fe...  more »
  • This is a very nice place where we stayed 3 nights (enough). It is lovely to bathe in this lake water warm and soft even if it isn't the paradise of beaches. The simplest is to stay in Moyogalpa to have choice of accommodation and restaurants, and then rent a scooter. We hired them to a lovely couple at Monkey tour to $ 13 / day for two scooters for two days.

  • I went with my boyfriend and love. The place is very different from anything we've ever seen and it is fascinating. Two volcanoes, the Concepcion huge, surrounded by a lake that has sharks (Bull Sharks). We rented Scooters but not nominate, get an ATV, pq venta mt, the roads are always full of stones and there are several large animals crossing the track. On several occasions the scooter skidded or due to wind (Yes, believe me!) or by reason of the pebbles they had on the floor. Meet the Ojo de water, delicious place to relax and soak. Knowing of the existence of sharks, diving in lakes. There are hiking trails that appear to be worth it, both the Maderas volcano as Masaya. Not only did because we were slightly injured and the climbs required much effort. Also recommend the zip line and the ida on Punta Maria Jesus view the sunset.
