  • This is a site where exposed things are well presented all about volcanoes of the Nicaragua, ditto on fauna and flora of the region. Outside, a few nice views of the terrace at the rear of the House in the Park. The entrance fee is included in admission to the Volcano Park.

  • Of course, you should visit this museum here because it already on the only route from the park entrance to the volcano. But, to leave an impression, as the volcano itself, it will not leave behind.

  • Glowing lava oh yeas. Entrance fee 10 dollars for night tour. 5:30-8. Only 20 min on top where you can see the flowing lava (magical). Totally worth it. If you want to save money take local bus from Granada for 50 cents and ask people or tour buses at entrance to hitchhike to the top. Super save and touristy.
  • You can observe this active volcano only for 10 minutes, and those 10 minutes are truly something amazing. The boiling magma at 700-1000 °C, with the sulfur in the air, is literally breathtaking! :)
  • This is an awesome volcano park! The volcano smoulders every day, so you can get some awesome pictures of the smoke and the volcano crater. It's a giant park, so it's great for hiking, and you can rent horses to explore, too. They do charge a lot more for foreigners than they do for locals, but it's still pretty cheap.
  • The volcano park is absolutely amazing, and one of the only places you'll actually be able to look down inside a volcano and see lava! You'll almost feel like you're in the Lord of the Rings by how close you get to the lava! There's also a lot of history here with the cross on the hill and the lava flows that you can see on your way up to the crater.
  • Because of the open volcano it is great to visit right now but expect long queue on the road befor you can enter. It cost 10 dollars per person and your only allowed 15m to look at the volcano.
