Completed in 1993, Metropolitan Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception caused considerable controversy in the local community--the costs of completion were partially paid for by the American owner of Domino's Pizza. The structure features a massive rectangular bell tower with a hollow cross-shaped window, huge wooden doors, and 63 domes.   • The then owner of Domino's pizza donated very good part for the construction of this Cathedral which is inspired by the architecture of the Holy Sepulchre in Israel. It is built on land that was family Somoza and the State donated it to the Church in the 90s. Here is dedicated to the immaculate conception of Mary.
