  • A nerve! We have not done this guide out of pure principle. For foreigners, the tour costs about 4-5 times as much as for locals. • Had no idea that an advance reservation was needed, but turns out - you do. I've looked thru the website and haven't found anything where it says you need an advance reservation. I've seen that it was...  more »

  • Felt a bit like being in a commercial for the company, but some neat historical anecdotes. Guide was friendly. Large facility and travel around the facility via tram was appreciated. Free tasting was fun and inexpensive gift shop for souvenirs (compared to shelf prices in USA).
  • Excellent tour regarding the history of the Flor de Caña brand and what sets it apart from other runs. Includes a tasting and warehouse tour.
  • Tour was quite informative. Loved learning about the process of making Nicaragua's famous rhum, smelling the barrel storage area and tasting the thing itself. Expensive items in gift shop, did not buy any. Worth a side trip if you're in on near the area. Otherwise nothing to write home about.
  • Great experience! Loved the tour! Tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable about the process. Store was nice but pricey. :)
  • Awesome place to visit, and find out how the rum is process, everyone that works there are very nice, bilingual, and helpful Make sure you try the coffee at the end of your tour In our group they where about 6 kids ages 3-9, in my opinion they had fun walking around make sure they have something to drink to keep hydrated
