  • A lovely sight at night entering Whakatane over the bridge and look left to see the walkway lit up. Don't miss the lights in the trees in the Strand too. Great atmosphere.
  • This is a nice easy walk for young and old, it takes you right into town if that is where you want to go. It is lovely watching the boats come and go and also the birds.
  • Great walk in the middle of town even watched guys doing amazing carving in various different mediums down by the river, clean, great native vegetation along the walk, credit to the town
