  • The Mt Victoria Loop walk is a really nice way to get to the lookout, and there are plenty of awesome views along the way. It's not a very difficult walk, it took us about 40 minutes going at a casual pace. You can see everything from Te Papa to Wellington Airport to the Basin. There are also neat boards with information about the view at the lookout.
  • Time spend there was amazing with a great set of friends. 360° view of Wellington. Able to see the landing strip of the airport and the landing and take off of several flights.
  • Amazing panoramic views across Auckland. For a unique experience climb to the top during the night after the sun has set. Gale force winds blast through the lookout but the view of the city lights make the climb very worth it.
  • One of the "Must Visit" places in Wellington, especially during the summer. From here you can get an almost 360 view of the entire Wellington City, seeing as far as the Hutt Valley (in the distance), and also the airport runways. It's a bit of drive up, and the road can be a bit tricky to navigate but once you're there, the view is awesome. However, depending on the time of day and year, it can be a bit crowded, so parking is limited. The other bonus, it's open all the time, so for those wanting to find a romantic spot, pick a time and hope that no one else decided to take it too.
  • Great view of Wellington. Can drive all the way to the stop. Never had an issue finding a parking space.
