Frank Kitts Park, Wellington

(4.2/5 based on 130+ reviews on the web)
Go local at Frank Kitts Park, where you can listen to talented buskers, let the kids play, and relax along with other Wellingtonians. The park, named after the city's longest-serving mayor Frank Kitt, represents one of the first areas of the waterfront to be developed back in the late 1980s. Its design was heavily influenced by the Wellington 500 street car race held in the area at the time. The many eateries and cafes close by make it a perfect spot for a snack or meal, while a short walk beside the waterfront will lead you to an art gallery and food market. Use our Wellington holiday planner to add Frank Kitts Park and other attractions to your Wellington vacation plans.

  • That's a nice Park that offers a great view of the ocean and across the Bay to Wellington. In fact the Park is pretty much like others here, but the view has no equal.

  • Frank Kitts park is rad, heaps of space for families to play and boot campers to train. Also one of the hottest spots for Pokémon Go players in Wellington
