  • Paradise without the crowds (normally). This place gets very busy around dinner holidays and long weekends. Most of the year it is Paradise and almost empty. Take the run from Omaha beach around the rocks at low tide you won't regret it.
  • This place is not very far from Auckland City center, around 90 km so we can go there and come back on the same day. A very nice scenic place, we can play at the Anchor beach or take some tracking that leading to some awesome outlooks around the park. On the way of tracking, there are many birds to watch. There are many parking spaces. Restroom on the site. It's worth to come!
  • One of the best regional parks around Auckland! Beautiful beaches to walk or surf, quiet and relax atmosphere, great walk around the peninsula with awesome 360deg views. Amazing place to see kiwis at night!
  • Pristine beach with amazing white sand and great beach for swimming. Recommend the short walks around the park. The Maori Bay Coast walk at low tide takes you along the rocky coast and you can cut in to the Fishermans track which takes you into the bushes. Such an abundance of birds in there, amazing!
  • A classic New Zealand beach, very beautiful and often somewhat remote feeling, depending on the season. There are a few short scenic walks to enjoy, excellent swimming in very clear water, sometimes with small surf.
