  • A very beautiful waterfall, which perfectly plan during a stay in Waitomo as detour along with the bridge of nature can be. Walk slightly mushy is 10 minutes (one way), just before the waterfall is always a little spray from the waterfall.

  • The falls are a short distance from Piripiri but before that, at the junction of the Tawarau River, we came across the odd site of about 30 sets of hiking boots and shoes tied to a fence? No idea why?...  more »

  • A really beautiful fall. One of the best in North Island. Huge frontage and volume of water in the fall. We went there unknowingly and found this beauty. A very lovely place. Short walk down to the waterfall from the road. Not a large number of steps there. A must visit in the Waitomo region.
  • Worth the drive. . Bit of a walk down.... coming up ok for average fit people. A couple of seats if you need them. (About 10m in walk) Make sure you stop at the other two places coming back too....or one each way to break it up. Caves which are free entry 5 min walk, a few stairs. And the natural bridge.
  • It had rained for a day or 2 when we saw the falls. They were quite impressive with a strong flow. Access and viewing platform were good.
  • Cool little walk with impressive waterfall. Took my 3 and 6 year olds asked they loved it. A bit of a drive but can easily be tied into other activities on the way.
  • Amazing waterfalls
