Stand in awe at the geological history of Waikato at Mangapohue Natural Bridge, a 17 m (56 ft) limestone arch that crosses Mangapohue Stream. The last remnant of an ancient cave system, the bridge makes up part of a mighty gorge and is decorated with impressive stalactite rock formations. Easily accessible even for those with infants in strollers, a well-maintained trail leads you to the mouth of the bridge and continues along the gorge and out into pristine farmland. • Super easy to reach and enjoyable short loop track. The trail itself as well as the arches are just stunning. You don't expect that. Don't get fooled by the pictures. It's definitely worth a visit in the elsewise busy touristic waitomo area.
  • An easy 5 minute walk from the carpark, with a few steps. The walk is well worth it as the bridge is impressive, with sheer walls and a small stream below. If you've come this far, make sure you continue on down the road to Marokopa Falls
  • Stunning and beautiful. The path leading into the bridge is amazing as you wall along the cliff face and the bridge just appear in front of you when you least expected. Try to beyond the bridge.
  • Highly recommended as one of the most beautiful places to visit.
