  • Wonderful wine tasting as we drive from Hanmer to Christchurch. The host was friendly. The wine was delicious. It is well worth forcing the driver to stop here.  more »

  • Nice view on the terrace outside. The seafood platter was really delicious but the taste plate dessert was less convincing. Very nice wines as well. Perfect place for a stop over lunch.
  • Wines are great and the view is awesome, while customer service is needed to greatly improve for the vine tasting experience. The front staff was smile-less and had no willing to introduce the wine. Terrible experience here and never come back again. Almost staffs were chatting in front of the coffee machine and few staff welcome customers. Wouldn’t recommend it.
  • Great place to spend Sunday afternoon , sit in the sun eat great meals and drink fine wines. Meals are quite large and easily shared, the wine matching is helpful. I had the mussels and chorizo, great. As was the beef ragout Friendly staff and no smoking, that I noticed, nearby
  • Great tasting and nice food - but bad its driven by a big Australian company.
  • Susanne was a great host. Mum and I tried all the Pinot Noir varieties. Mum bought 2 bottles to bring back to Cali. I brought the sketchbook and watercolors but didn't have much time to bust them out as they close at 5.
