  • Ideal to walk the rim having visited the gold mining centre to learn the history. It is a massive hole in the ground yet only half the depth of the old underground mine. Interesting to see the massive...  more »
  • We spent awhile at the "hole in the ground" We were there after the landslide so that was amazing to see. The kids were fascinated with how the trucks up the top were trying to stablise everything. 
  • It was very interesting to walk the rim of the pit and learn a lot about local history and also what is happening now with the Gold mine. A great walk to take children on as they get a bit of exercise...  more »
