Wild on Waiheke, Waiheke Island

(4.3/5 based on 420+ reviews on the web)
Test your skills with a bow and arrow or simply enjoy a good merlot at Wild on Waiheke, a winery with a twist. As well as producing wines from local grapes, the complex plays host to a number of adventure activities such as archery and laser clay-bird shooting. You can sample wine by the glass or bottle in the cafe-cum-bar, which also serves up meals and snacks sourced from local ingredients. If wine isn't your drink of choice, consider ordering a beer made in the onsite micro-brewery. • Come for the beer and wine tastings. Stay for the scenery and games. Book games ahead or grab a seat and enjoy the island. Earliest ferry from Auckland arrives at 945am. Plan your events and adventure bookings around the chance you will be late! Great food, great staff, great atmosphere. Your on holiday, relax!
  • Excellent menu and drink, great atmosphere and knowledgeable, friendly staff. Definitely worth a visit. We went twice!
  • Staff were friendly, food and wine were delicious and they had a couple of very tasty beers. A great experience well worth it.
  • Great for one day picnics. Very good activities like shooting, team building activities etc. Strongly recommend for team outings in NZ.
  • Did not get to try the wine, but the activities they offer--laser clay pigeon shooting and archery--are much fun for all ages
