  • Great venue, beautiful surroundings, but the staff kind of ruin the place. Very unattentive and in a rush. The platter sizes were tiny given the price you pay.  more »
  • We went to do a wine tasting and we got asked for ID which is fine, but apparently a British driving license isn’t good enough. Who carries a passport with them when doing wine tasting?! The woman who...  more »
  • We sought out this vineyard as we had tasted one of their red wines (Ironclad) at a two Michelin restaurant (L’Enclume) in Cartmel, England. There is a cafe/restaurant close to the beach which serves ...  more »

  • Beautiful spot to have a taste of wine and enjoy the view! Definitely worth the drive from the other side of the island. Great little charcuterie platters available all day. No charge for the tastings. Lovely staff. Also great views on the drive there, and stop-offs now and again for photos.
  • Wine tasting on Waiheke Island... ☺️✨ We've already known the Man O'War wines and we've appreciated the selection. Drinking a good glass of wine in a wonderful landscape ... it was perfect. The food also was tasty... Little OBS for the stuff: Take care of the noise produced when "cleaning" a table. The noise produced by the plates picked up in a hurry (hurricane) can broke the calm and the peculiar atmosphere that the place strives to offer ...
  • Worth the extra cab ride out to Man of War! Very nice atmosphere and wine servers that knew all the details of the various wines and history of the vineyard. Food was delicious and was able to lounge outside in peace even though there was other groups/families there too. Top vineyard that we went to on the island and can't wait to order their wine again! Highly recommend!
  • One of our favourite places on Waiheke. It's a very laid-back vinyard wine tasting experience. Quite a long journey by car over narrow twisty roads but well worth the tip. As it is right on the water with a nice beach front swimming is good and many people come by boat. Very child friendly you can relax on the lawns in beanbags while the children play cricket etc. Great wines without the high cost & fuss of many of the other vinyards.
  • Nice reds. Stunning views. Well worth thr drive
