  • We drove out here and thought we were going to the back of beyond given the dirt road and lack of traffic - about 40 minutes from Oneroa. However, it is a beautiful drive and worth it in itself. And w...  more »

  • Being such a long trek over dusty roads, the man-o-war vineyard has to do something to attract people to this end of the island; free alcohol helps I guess ... Food is limited to platters but the view...  more »

  • Best vineyard on Waiheke. Takes a bit of effort to get there (not sure if rental cars are OK on the unpaved roads), but it is beautiful to sit in the yard and look out over the peaceful bay. The wines are great, there is a good selection of platters to eat, and there are games to play too. Highly recommended.
  • Most remote winery on the island that has great food and wine. Awesome place to spend an afternoon away from the busier parts of the island.
  • The sun and free wine tasting will surely delight your day as well as the hospitality of the staff.
  • Off the beaten track. It's a long drive to man o' war but totally worth it. It can get busy during summer with boaties anchoring in the bay and riding their dingys and jetskis to the beach to have a drink at the wineyard. The sav and the pinot gris are great on a hot summer day. They even do beers now. Sit back and relax or play a game of petanque.
  • Great location, good selection of wine, olive oil and honey but the tasting seemed rushed and wasn't explained very well
