  • What a great place Feed fish for free Good coffee and cheap meals Buy your fresh salmon for dinner or eat some now
  • If there was a McDonald's or KFC around, I think I might have had a better restaurant experience. The service was atrocious, the salmon was ok at best. They didn't even have a god damn toilet at the r...  read more »
  • They served awesome salmon. Fresh salmon! Had salmon platter, 2 salmon burger and salmon bagel. All the food is great! Warm and fresh. My kids enjoyed the free feeding.
  • Quick stop after lake Pukaki and Tekapo where you can enjoy salmon fishing and burgers . I had been here in autumn and I had experienced spectacular beauty of Lake Wairepo Arm >>> -check my pics, they are stunning.
  • This is a nice stop by the road. They have some dishes with salmon (what else?!) and hot drinks. I also had the salmon burger and that was pretty good. I recommend it. I bought a small tray of sashimi and it was under my expectations, there were some fat in the salmon slices that you don't see on the salmon you get in a sushi shop. But the most disappointing bit was that there were no toilets for clients.
  • April 2016 was my 2nd visit, love the salmon shasimi sold here. NZD$20 for 250 grams, way cheaper than those sold at Pukaki Visitor Centre. Although the packaging may not be as good or as attractive, you can be assured that the salmon sold here is very fresh and as delicious. As it is close to Lake Pukaki (just about 10 minutes drive), you can takeout and eat there too. The staff will help you wrap it nicely. You get to feed the salmon for free, all visitors love trying it out. Free Wi-Fi connection.
  • I would give it a 4 star. My friend found the service not super friendly. I thought it was all right though. A good stop if it's on your way. :)
  • The salmon bagel is to die for and only $6. The coffee is allpress and well made. There is a lovely fire inside too.
