No map to take with you, pay in an honesty box. They lay out is not well sign posted. Got lost a few times. If you had a map and the layout was well done it would be ok. More for children I think. more »

Visited this garden today, the weather was overcast but pleasant. Quite a long drive down Quarry Road and part of the road was unsealed. Honesty box for payment today and you needed to take a picture ... more »
The 1st time we visited a yr & a hlf ago it was awesome. It was a sunny day & everything was in full bloom & we just loved it. Our 2nd visit only a few ninths ago wasn't as enjoyable. It was an overcast day, there were no maps available at the entrance to show us how to get around & the grounds seemed to be overgrown. Didn't help that it had been raining earlier so was quite muddy. It would take a lot of work to maintain these gardens so understand how hard it must be to do so. Still is a lovely place tho regardless & we will take our children again when summer comes back around
Nice walk with lots for the younger kids to find. But it's all looking a bit old and tired.
Quirky but fun & beautiful
