  • Faith in Fiordland was an amazing find in Te Anau. Gorgeous classic wood boat for an afternoon cruise on the lake with tea and amazing canapes. It was like stepping back into history as the Captain George and his first mate Adam were amazing. Their love of the boat and love of the Fiordland National Park was so evident as they loved to share all the information and history with the guests. A definite must do excursion in Te Anau. • The most incredible morning. George and Max where fantastic and the service 5 star. I feel so thankful to have experienced this magical cruise and would recommend to everyone. Food and scenery is one of a kind!!
  • Did you ever come to the end of an amazing movie or show and feel sad about being snapped back to reality? We were out for several hours today on "Faith" but all too soon, it was over. This was a trip of unique enjoyment, value and interest to anyone remotely interested in old boats. Then you are taken to parts of the fiordland national Park accessible only by boat and treated to a short guided walk through ancient virgin forest with expert commentary. We had free run of the boat to explore nearly all areas but with careful attention to safety from our hosts who were also wonderful conversationalists and impeccably polite and hospitable. We were fed, entertained and educated and felt thoroughly uplifted by the experience. My wife, our four teenagers and I all would gladly spend days with these guys and their aged elegant "lady of the lake".
  • George and Adam are both amazing hosts and find every way possible to make you feel welcome! The Faith in Fiordland is like stepping into a time machine and we enjoyed it so much that we came back the same day for the sunset tour. They also take you through a hidden lake hike half way into the cruise through amazing woodlands. George is highly knowledgeable and his guided tour is a great way to break up the trip. I cannot speak highly enough for the work these gentlemen put into this endeavor. George and Adam were engaging and thoroughly enjoyable to be around. The beauty of the landscape, the ship, and the company of our hosts stands leagues above other tours we have taken. If you come to Te Anau and miss this opportunity, you have passed on a truly exquisite experience.
  • If you want to experience the Te Anau area, lake, mountains and fjords in a morning, this is a must. The two gentlemen who own this beautiful ship (built in England and boarded by Winston Churchill on a few occasions) are the friendliest tour guides one could ask for, with extensive knowledge of the area. Beverages and refreshments are included, as is a hike through a nature preserve halfway through the trip. Highly recommend.
