  • We popped in without doing previous research and were most delighted. The friendly lady recommended to take a cabin instead of tent site and pointed out the bad weather front coming up on the internet...  more »

  • I camped here for one night and as a solo traveller it's kinda a rip off to camp for $55 a pitch, they only have powered sites so I wouldn't recommend camping here for solo travellers. Other than that this holiday park was great, was kinda jealous of the cabins they looked really lovely. Overall a very clean and very family oriented park. The huge supermarket across the road was awesome and very convenient. The hot pools were lovely, would have been nice to have one cold pool though and some deck chairs or something so I could chill in the sun beside the pool and read a book. Almost freaked out when the sower was cold but I forgot to push the button outside. Being real picky here but the showers were pretty weak. Would recommend for someone that's looking for a relaxing long weekend with the family. Staff really lovely and helpful. Excellent for tranquility and relation.
  • Great family friendly place. We have stayed at this park 3 times now. It is always clean and tidy. The kids swam in the hot pools for hours. It is not a 5 star hotel but is great value for money for simple clean accommodation .
  • My two days experience staying at this holiday park in cabins with my family has been a delight and a pleasure to be there, the cabins were nice and warm in the middle of winter, facilities were convenient and clean, supermarket was very handy, kids had an awesome time swimming and enjoying the hot pools, the whole experience was a sublime for my family and we cant wait to go back there again on our next school holidays, thank you to the friendly manager and staff for making our stay feel welcome.
  • Absolutely terrible experience at this holiday park, we have been camping for years and never experienced anything like this, viewed site, booked and paid in June and then in September they moved a unit onto half the site, mucked us around all year, upon arrival and being shown the site by the manager, taking four hours to set up with three kids and our stay for the week was looking good, only for the manger to then come and tell us he had put us on the wrong site and we needed to move, no other sites could fit our tent, managers words "they are only really for small motorhomes" after a tearful night our only holiday for the year was ruined and we packed up at 6am and left - The manager is definitely not a people person or problem solver and is in the wrong job - No summer holiday for us this year thanks to the Omokoroa Holiday park. Managers response was that we should have come out again and viewed the site in our own time, and that he had given alternatives, but really is it an alternative when you can not fit your tent??? Very poor
  • Lovely camper park, kids really enjoyed hot pool for hours
