  • We decided to go out for ice cream while in taupo and ended up at the honey hive!!! It is definitely worth the stop! Very informative, cool bee display for the kids and TASTE TESTERS!!! The peanut but...  more »
  • They have a good selection of honey. It is also informative for kids to see the real bees and how the honey is made. The honey tasting was very good. The only problem was to chose which honey to buy!

  • Visited with my course from the New Zealand School of Tourism Rotorua an I thought this place was "The bees knees" absolutely loved all the products they offered and you could sample everything! Walked out with the amazing lemon and passion fruit curd OMG so delicious especially on ice cream and toast! Big huge thumbs up and I will be going back to take my kids 😁
  • Nice to see the living bee hive. They also have some great honey alcoholic drinks
  • A lovely place to visit, with bees to see, honey to taste and wonderful products to purchase, plus a cafe!
  • Good experience for the kids to spot honey bees behind a glass, watch movies and taste different types of honey. Recommended specialy on a rainy day!
  • Fantastic! Free wine tasting, brought some great wines. Kapil I ice I cream always a favorite. But staff very friendly and helpful. No problem recommending a visit.
