  • A legitimate working alpaca farm. They've a variety of different things to do with their alpacas. If yiu know you're going it's best to give them a little advance notice as it is a working farm.
  • Lovely place to visit. The alpacas are cute and gorgeous, while the owners are very friendly and hospitable. The studio/shop has wonderful knitwear for sale, and the alpaca yarn that is available for purchase is beautifully soft and great to knit with. If you are looking for an outing that will be enjoyed by your children, grandchildren or other visitors, this is a great destination. Best to go on a dry day! Take gumboots or other sturdy footwear. Feeding the alpacas is very special, but it is a good idea to ring ahead so that arrangements can be made to have alpacas nearby when you arrive.
  • Just stopped to check it out late in the day on our way back from Waitomo caves, super friendly people, showed us around and and we fed the alpacas and checked out their store selling alpaca garments and such. Their Alpacas are super soft, especially the baby one born today.
