  • An alpaca farm is interesting to visit and Nevalea was one of the best. Everyone can have a good time here but the kids in our group really had a great time leading the alpacas to a paddock and then f...  more »

  • Really friendly people who care about what they are doing. We had all sorts of silly questions as we are looking to have 2 for our property.... very knowledgeable and helpful people.
  • The girls loved it. For $10 you go in and feed the alpacas and as soon as you walk in with a cup of food they swarm! Owner was very friendly and answered all my paca questions!
  • We visited during winter. We were the onky family doing the visit. I signed up for the walk the alpaca l.it was okay. Good experience but the area is very dirty. If you walk the alpaca, be prepared to wash your shoes. I was expecting to see them sheer an alpaca but they didnt. We were only shown pictures of how it was done. Quite disappointed. The other farm animals that we could pet was a sheep. I was expecting more. The place is scenic though.
  • Great value. Nice people.
  • Lovely place to visit. The alpacas are cute and gorgeous, while the owners are very friendly and hospitable. The studio/shop has wonderful knitwear for sale, and the alpaca yarn that is available for purchase is beautifully soft and great to knit with. If you are looking for an outing that will be enjoyed by your children, grandchildren or other visitors, this is a great destination. Best to go on a dry day! Take gumboots or other sturdy footwear. Feeding the alpacas is very special, but it is a good idea to ring ahead so that arrangements can be made to have alpacas nearby when you arrive.
