  • Beautifully situated, the bridge opened in 2010 and provides foot and cycle access across the Waiwhakaiho River. Very attractive and unusual design and well worth a photo or 3 or 4. As well as being a...  more »

  • . (03/2017) Amazing piece of engineering design brilliance. One of New Plymouth landmarks which encompasses walking track and cycleway. Beautiful views and lovely atmosphere. Had memorable experience.
  • Had my wedding photos done there was really against it at the start seeing heaps of people do it but they were absolutely beautiful thanks the the wonderful mark bellringer 👌
  • A beautiful, architecturally fascinating bridge. Worth a visit for all tourists in the area. It is also the beginning of the coastal walkway which is a famous attraction for New Plymouth.
  • A very relaxing place to visit and is also a great place to get on or off the walk way. The bridge is an interesting structure, don't be alarmed if moves a little while you're on it.
  • The Bridge is worth visiting, but the walk (coastal walkway) is much more fun
