  • I took the track in January. At the visitor center, I was warned that the track would be "moody" (muddy). The first part up to the port Williams camp was in very good condition. The second day the warning came much closer to the North arm camping. Many muddy places. These have usually a branch or stone in it, which cross the very easy. Or the place can be bypassed easily. Of the 13 km stretch on this day there were about to cross 4 digits that were difficult to get really muddy shoes. The 3rd day back to Oban is also quite muddy. But not to the extent of day 2 (it both nights rained out). Definitely a very nice track with quite different areas, that one goes through. The tent sites have everything you need. Really great service. I had 3 unforgettable days and am glad I was able to run this track.
