Treble Cone, South Island
(4.1/5 based on 130+ reviews on the web)
Hit the slopes at South Island's largest ski area at Treble Cone, known for its challenging, steep terrain and magnificent views. While experienced skiers test their skills on the longest vertical in the Southern Lakes, beginners and less experienced skiers will also find plenty of runs and activities appropriate for their levels. Small children can play at the terrain park and fun trail, or meet other children at the resort's childcare center. Lessons are available for both children and adults. • Amazing Staff, Amazing snow. Groomed runs and deep powder readily available with terrain from beginner to expert. By far the best in the lakes district and even queenstown
  • I was here in early August 2016. As a beginner - having experienced green slopes at Cardrona - Treble Cone's green slopes were definitely NOT "green" in comparison! The view from the top, however, was absolutely amazing - a must see ❥
  • Great groomed runs, amazing view! Looks like it would be fun on a powder day.
  • One of the most amazing vistas in the world from the top of Treble Cone. Stunning backdrop to spend a day snowboarding to. Tickets are relatively cheap and the snow is good (obviously seasonal). Pick the right day and it's nirvana. I love it up there!
  • Awesome ski field for steep and deep powder. Amazing views on a nice day. The road up is scary if u haven't done it before....
