  • . (03/2017) Nicely located point to view small hot pools filled with boiling sulphur water. Beautiful views of the lake. Well maintained walking track with historical information made available along the way. One of the highlights of our Rotorua visit.
  • It's a very calm place. You can enjoy the nature.
  • Pretty decent views. But water is dirty and bugs everywhere. Nice for photos. Didn't see any mud pools or anything interesting
  • as all bubbling / steaming places: this one is also a lot of fun to discover
  • Exactly as advertised: a point covered in sulphur. Tons of birds but plenty odor as well. We parked at the far end of the lot so didn't see the warning signs until we got back.
