  • Right on beautiful lake Rotorua, this is one of few churches I have walked in and immediately felt a warm,spiritual feeling in the air (bearing in mind that I am not religious!). The way in which Māor...  more »
  • Entry by donation to raise funds for repair. This church was such a tranquil haven with amazing Mauri art inside. The guide was most helpful and let us take dozens of ohotos 
  • Walk around the gravestones and learn about local history. The church is beautiful, but closed up tight, even on a Sunday evening.

  • Very attractive church with some interesting artwork. Well known for one window depicting a Maori Christ seemingly walking on the water of the lake outside.
