Step inside a giant transparent orb and prepare to roll, bounce, and race at OGO Rotorua, the largest ball rolling park in the world. Developed by the inventors of this unusual adventure experience, also known as Zorbing, the park lets guests choose from multiple ride routes across 6.8 hectares (17 acres) of hills overlooking Lake Rotorua and Mokoia Island. Go it alone or invite some friends and family to accompany you in your orb. You'll also be joined by 40 litres (10 gallons) of water, warm in summer and cool in winter. If you'd prefer to stay dry, opt for the harness ride. Using our world travel planner, Rotorua attractions like OGO Rotorua can form part of a personalized travel itinerary.

  • SO MUCH FUN! Do an H20 ride for sure. We were there on a cold and overcast day and it was still worth it to change and get wet. The hot tubs at the top and bottom keep you warm. The sidewinder with 2 ...  more »

  • We stopped here with 50 students from the US and they all had a great time, even on a cold rainy day. Hot tubs at the top and bottom of the run kept everyone warm and comfortable. It's a little expensive, but worth it.
  • Good fun but like others say it is pricey. Did a tandem sidewinder and glad I did that over the straight course. The sidewinder track took about 2 mins so you will probably want to do more than one go after the first one. Hot tubs and heater innthe change room makes it great all year around.
  • Great fun. Lovely staff and facilities.
  • Don't do the straight down the hill one. That lasts for about 10 seconds. Do the zig zag wet water one - and take a swim suit / togs and towel! They have a hot tub and the top and bottom of the ramp if you get cold waiting, or want to soak at the end. The zig zag one lasts almost 2 minutes, and is kind of like one of those fast, twisty, enclosed water slides where you go around the corners and get thrown around and almost drown! Awesome fun!!! Spendy though. Ah well, YOLO!
  • Best fun inside of a ball rolling down a hill
