#2 of 18 in Fun & Games in Rotorua
Step inside a giant transparent orb and prepare to roll, bounce, and race at OGO Rotorua, the largest ball rolling park in the world. Developed by the inventors of this unusual adventure experience, also known as Zorbing, the park lets guests choose from multiple ride routes across 6.8 hectares (17 acres) of hills overlooking Lake Rotorua and Mokoia Island. Go it alone or invite some friends and family to accompany you in your orb. You'll also be joined by 40 litres (10 gallons) of water, warm in summer and cool in winter. If you'd prefer to stay dry, opt for the harness ride. Add OGO Rotorua and other attractions to your Rotorua trip itinerary using our Rotorua tour builder website .

  • Awesome time. They provide spa pools for the times when guests aren't in the ball. Taking a spa at the top of the mountain was worth the money in itself. Didn't like the straight winder as I'm a baby ...  more »
  • The staff were great, very welcoming - standout was Liam - he was awesome! It is pricey, but we're on holidays that's what we are here to do, it's an experience and we all loved it. The look on my gir...  more »
  • Super fun for adults and kids. Long track -- do the sidewinder one, lasts longer, goes faster than the straight track.  more »

  • Great fun, it was really cold the day it was nice to jump in the hot tub while waiting for the next go
  • We did the dry sidewinder and it was so much fun. A bit pricey ($50 each to share a zorb) but I think the price can go down to $20 each if you say you're a NZ resident). Don't do the zorb alone coz it's not as much fun as laughing at each other while you roll around. It also gets hot inside so just be mindful of what you wear inside. The whole ride doesn't take more than 2 minutes though. They have showers for those who prefer to do the wet zorb.
  • We stopped here with 50 students from the US and they all had a great time, even on a cold rainy day. Hot tubs at the top and bottom of the run kept everyone warm and comfortable. It's a little expensive, but worth it.
  • So much fun!! Anyone travelling to the region this is an absolute must.
  • Good fun but like others say it is pricey. Did a tandem sidewinder and glad I did that over the straight course. The sidewinder track took about 2 mins so you will probably want to do more than one go after the first one. Hot tubs and heater innthe change room makes it great all year around.
