Thrill Zone, Queenstown

(300+ reviews on the web)
Entertainment Center Fun & Games
Wage war at Thrill Zone, a complex housing three team tagging games in a fully interactive indoor battleground. Reball uses rubber pellets instead of paintballs, making it less messy--although it can still hurt, so body armor and goggles are provided and the staff recommend only visitors aged ten or over play. For younger visitors over five, Lasertag and Heroblast offer two fun, non-contact games. Bring suitable footwear and clothing that covers the body, such as pants and long sleeve shirts. A visit to Thrill Zone represents just the start of the adventure when you use our Queenstown trip generator to plot your vacation.

  • Awesome fun! Many choices for all ages! Fun people! would come again
  • First time I've ever seen "reball" - reusable paintballs. I'm a very casual player and thought it was a lot better than traditional paintball. Unlimited ammo, no gun jams, no mess and straight back into the action after getting shot. Setup, gear and staff were top notch. Would easily recommend over traditional paintball. *My group played without shirts which added a lot of excitement and suspense, but we did get a lot of bruises on the body that took about a week to heal.
  • Unexpected AMAZING time ! In the spirit of the moment we walked in to see what this place is all about. We opted for Lasertag and VR ! Not something we usually do. Wow - we had a great time. Lasertag had a referee taking us through different tactical games, which was awesome and we got really competitive, the 1hr was gone in no time. Later we did the Virtual Reality gaming, all I can say, this is sooooo cool ! You are right in the game seeing each other as the characters in the game fighting different creatures.. We will be back !
  • Paid $30 per person for the VR experience, marketed as having multiple games, and we assumed that since the other events were an hour, this would be similar. Instead, we had an 8 minute game selected for us, after which we were told that additional games would be $10 each. Nobody specified or explained any of this to us prior to taking our money. Weak.
  • VR experience is majorly overpriced, $29 for the 8 minutes we ended up playing was too much, especially considering that we were unable to pick which game we wanted, and could not play together.
