(4.6/5 based on 420+ reviews on the web)
For a taste of some of New Zealand's finest wines, include The Winery on your Queenstown itinerary. The centrally located winery remains one of the city's most popular tourist attractions, offering regular wine tasting classes and wine tours. An ideal option for visitors with limited time to explore the area, the establishment represents some 60 local vineyards and provides a convenient way to learn about local production under one roof. Create your own tasting tour using their self-service wine machines, allowing you to take your time and taste before you buy. Check online for guided tasting options with a wine expert. • Awesome place to drop in for a pre-dinner drink and a cheese platter after a day on the slopes or just about anytime!! Staff (especially Oliver) were awesome, showing us around and sharing information on the different wines on show. We went back twice in our short stay!
