Shred some powder and take in the alpine scenery of The Remarkables Ski Area. This snow sport resort boasts a versatile terrain along with a wide range of facilities to appeal to experts and first-timers alike. An early learning center, designed for kids from three months to 15 years, helps young visitors build up their skills and confidence. After a long day on the slopes, refuel at the onsite restaurant, cafe, coffee bar, or, for an extraordinary experience, the mountaintop ice bar. With superb views and ample outdoor seating, including comfy beanbags, it comes as no surprise that this is one of the resort's most popular après-ski spots. Gear up at the snow-sport store, rental spot, and repair service, all contained in the resort. Heaps of terrain lots to explore fast lifts, since the renovations more space for the masses. Always my first choice when in Queenstown.
Hi guys. The Remarks are awesome. It is one of my fav ski area in Queenstown. The Fun Park is so much fun and so much diff kickers and rails. Its good for everyone!!
Our family of 5 spent a couple of days Spring skiing at The Remarkables. We were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the snow, considering it hadn't snowed for over 2 weeks. The café was huge ... read more »
Remarkable place to ski. You can take shuttle bus or drive here by yourself, you only need to notice the snow or black ice on the road (If weather is bad). I drive by myself and feel very ok. I am a beginner and sign up a beginner class. Teacher is kind. I have a lot fun today.
Slopes werent fully open when I came but nevertheless it was amazing. Highly recommend the Shadow Basin chairlift for any blue slopers. Very few people compared to Curvy basin, just as long if not longer with more wide steep slopes. Very nice.
A very fun place to be! Especially during winter. Play with snow and they have restaurant too up there. Easy to access from city.
Terrible literally unusable cell coverage.. and the guest WIFI is actually a joke. For a new modern facility.. they could and most certainly should have done better!!!

That was my first time to ski, joined a 1-day starter package and that was absolutely not enough! Because it was too much fun :). One more thing, I worried the restaurant's menu will be expensive before I go but turn out I was wrong, the price was just like in Queenstown, so needn't trouble about that.
