  • Customer unfriendly! After my first flight was cancelled due to the weather, I tried again three days later. The provider's airport is an hour's drive from Queenstown. So that my girlfriend can be there, we decided to go there ourselves. Half an hour before departure, the provider contacts to make sure the weather is good enough for the skydive. After that was confirmed, we made our way to Glenochry for the airport. After an hour's drive we got there. The premises were deserted, whereupon we contact the provider. It was said that the flight will now be cancelled due to weather conditions. It is absolutely unprofessional not to inform the customer about it. We could have saved ourselves two hours of driving time. Behind the refund you now have to go behind again and compensation is not offered. It was not asked again if you would like to jump another day. One gets the impression that the provider is only concerned with making quick money. After several phone calls with the hotline, there was also no excuse for not informing me as a customer (after all, you had to keep the hotline free for the interested customers). In sum, pretty customer-friendly, incomprehensible and money-horny. One more word on the place of leaping. This is just a wooden hut with Plumpsklo, where a dirt road leads. The launch and runway is also a grass meadow. Maybe it's better, too, as none of this has left a professional impression.

  • Take the leap and jump out of a plane, I guarantee you will never forget the experience. The gear is very well looked after and the staff are helpful and experienced. My jump instructor had over 16,00...  more »

  • Skydive is something that you have to do in your life. If you can do it in New Zealand, Glennorchy is one of the most beautiful places so you can go with them. The crew is friendly and professional.
  • Unforgettable experience! Good communication about the weather (still always very last-minute decided). Great safety instructions, skydive masters, equipment and edited videos.
  • We were due to dive on the day, had allready paid the money. We waited at the pick up point and no one came. When we called we were informed it was cancelled due to high winds. No one made an effort to inform us earlier in the day. This wasted our whole day as we moved our activities around so we cud go sky diving. They knew from the morning that all the dives were cancelled that day but still no communication. Very dissapointed not only at the cancelation but the lack of any communication.
  • Scariest moment of my life, but well worth the experience! Southern Alps is associated with Nzone, so no need to do research between the two companies. I hadn’t skydived before and though the 12,000 ft was plenty enough free fall. We drove ourselves to Wanaka, but they do offer a shuttle. Everyone seemed very knowledgeable. Thanks to Barni for being the perfect beautiful stranger to fall with!
  • Beautiful location and actual skydiving was excellent. Operationally, they could be a bit more organized as (avoidable) delays were encountered throughout the day.
