  • It's a pretty standard park - calling it the Gardens make it sound like more of an attraction than it is. There is a small rose garden with a small pond, lawn bowling, tennis and frisbee golf facilities. It's a great park but if you only have a few days in Queenstown, I think you can skip. Compared to the Wellington Botanical Gardens this is just a larger-than-average city park.
  • It's a good place to take family photos. The rose garden is beautiful. The pond is full of friendly ducks, kids will love it. It has good view of the Wakatipu lake. The track is suitable for small kids, wheelchair accessible.
  • Beautiful gardens. It has autumn leaves with English looking garden areas and Scandinavian looking areas. Snow topped mountains in the background for a lot of the year.
  • Love this place, great for hanging out with family, awesome Frisbee golf park here
  • Nice place to walk and spend hour ir two. Trees have nametags. You can play Frisbee golf. Walkway around the lake offers nice sunset photos opportunities. You can even relax on the grass.
