  • Gorgeous location, nice food. We stopped here for breakfast when staying in the area. Breakfast until 11.30, cosy restaurant with a fire and a stunning view. Breakfast was nice, friendly service. The bacon was so crispy you could chip your way out of a jail cell with it!! But other than the inedible killer sharp bacon disc, breakfast was lovely.
  • Loved it here and thought prices were very reasonable for the food and service we received. We came here for breakfast - it wasn't crowded, staff very professional, coffees great and breakfast meals cooked perfectly! It's a small breakfast menu but excellent quality. And wonderful view of the lake as well.
  • 3 stars because it is snobby. Beautiful designed place and in summer is a great place to hang out. Its expensive, but due to the clientele I'm not surprised. Diners arrive by helicopter here 'darling'.
  • My local I leave at jacks point and love the fact we have a high class restaurant right on our doorstep it's got a great ambiance food and drink selection cosy fires in winter and scenery and views to die for
  • Food is good and the place is beautiful. It's on a golf course so priced accordingly. Service could be a bit better on busy days

Where to stay in Queenstown

To enjoy views of Lake Wakatipu in a luxury setting, try one of the many boutique and long-established hotels of the downtown area. As a resort town, Queenstown also offers a range of more modest accommodations, ideal for adventurers, backpackers, and those eager to spend more time outside than in. These come in the form of hostels, rental apartments, campsites, and suburban motels. A good local bus service provides connections between the downtown and suburban areas, and out to the surrounding attractions, and many accommodations offer package tours.
