Stand beneath Palmerston North Clock Tower and admire the Modernist structure that predominates over the downtown area of Palmerston North. Built in the 1950s according to a design by local engineer Ronald McMillan, the tower has grown over time; additional refurbishments completed in 2007 take it to a height of 30.5 m (100 ft) at its peak. • It's nice walking round the square at night. The clock is cool changes colour and plays music. Fun for all ages taking funny Silhouette photos in front of lights
  • Kids seem to enjoy colour changing wall, duck pond, bridge and giant chest board. Good photo op. Visit at night and near food places in handy walking distance. Also food trucks. Lovely.
