  • At Stonyridge, my husband and I purchased one sample of 3 wines for $9 to share. We are glad we didn’t ask for 2 samples. We were a bit sceptical of the wine tasting choices we were going to be offere...  more »
  • The sommelier was knowledgeable and wonderful. The grounds felt like a classic winery. I didn't eat here but had several of the wine tastings. I encourage everyone visiting the island to try this. Wel...  more »

  • Took a $45NZ cab from the ferry. A little cloudy when we went, but the seating area was filled with plush benches and couches with vineyard views. We ordered blue chips and guac with the group platter. It was more than enough to fill our lunch appetite.
  • Had an awesome day here with a group of close mates after a horrible experience next door at Wild on Waiheke. The owner Simon there seemed to have a problem with us from the start after what appeared to be him having a problem with a lady in our group being Irish as he was rude to her from the start as soon as he heard her accent 🙄 But it was a good thing he did, otherwise we would never of discovered Stonyridge. Which ended up being one of the best days ever. Beautiful setting, matched and met with beautiful food, wine and staff. Couldn't suggest anywhere more worthwhile visiting.
  • Although the winery is overall a nice place to visit during a day trip to the island, the decor seems to tell a story of a place that has no character. It looks like whoever picked the decor went to a Home Depot or At Home equivalent at New Zealand and bought everything that was in front of them, drove back and scattered the stuff around the property.
  • Great wine and atmosphere. Definitely worth a trek to the top of the highest part of Waiheke island for the stunning view. Our wine guide was very professional and enthusiastic.
  • We loved our time here, the staff was very friendly and knowledgable, and the atmosphere was great. Delicious wines.
