  • Although we did not forecast, it was raining, but even so, we chose one of the routes, which is a park of Tuvalu. Our choice fell on the purple, but because we are a little erratic (marking is not entirely clear) so we went through a little bit more than was planned, but it was worth it. Book search for several hours and definitely worth it.

  • Monique, Dan and Trudy were wonderful hosts. They love what they are doing and it shows even though they are all quite new at Eastwoodhill. They were very obliging to our needs. The arboretum was just beautiful. It has many stories to tell over the last century through the eyes and hands of many hard working people. We would love to come back and see it again in the spring or autumn. We did three of the amazing walks but sadly ran out of time. The accommodation was fabulous too. We couldn't want for anymore. It was a privilege to experience this beautiful place. Thank you guys for a memorable visit and thank you to the founders of this national treasure. Kind regards Jan and Chris.
  • Peaceful beautiful gardens and walkways. An easy but not quick drive from gizzy. Adequate fitness required.
