  • Beautiful Anglican Church, light wood, full of light, with strong references to the maori culture both in drawings of stained-glass panels and the Panel behind the altar. Although damaged in part by the last earthquake (you can't climb the belfry) is still valuable and worth the visit.

  • I had a great chance when I visited this elegant church. Both musicians were rehearsing that made me appreciate the acoustic qualities of the building. Marvelled at the beauty of the sound, I talked to musicians (a pianist and a violinist) to learn that they were professionals from Australia who would give a concert the next day. It was heavenly to hear! If you have the opportunity to attend a concert at this place I recommend. Otherwise, the building is sober but elegant
