  • As a result of the title expected much more than is actually available. Aquariums and fish are nice to look at, but not really much. After an hour, in very slow movement speed, it is through. Expectations of the NATIONAL Museum definitely does not meet.

  • It is a nice place to visit. There are a lot of animals to see, however my favorite was Kiwi, which is not so tipical in an aquarium but you can see here. Recommended.  more »

  • Amazing displays and interesting facts about the sea creatures. Clean and tidy. Friendly staff and a well laid out aquarium. Imagine what it would be like if Government spent more money on it!
  • We have a year pass so my daughter and I can visit when we like. It's such a lively atmosphere and my little girl loves it. The staff are lovely and the animals are very well loved.
  • Nice to visit even has kiwis and lizards not just the fish and sharks I expected to see and big mural on outside of building
  • The aquarium contains many fish species not originally from New Zealand. Inside it also have dinosaur fossil stone, shell, kiwi birds & penguins. Weekend deals is available which cost 10 dollar per adult only! Very suitable to bring kids which there are staff will educate and give explanations.
  • Had a great time! So many small fishies and big sharkos! Its gr8 do r8 5/7
