  • This is a great place to get a full picture of the history and development of the area, so much to see and all very well displayed.

  • Since we arrived just before the closure of the Museum, we looked at on only the exhibition in the basement of the big earthquake in 1931. And that is really great, especially the reports by contemporary witnesses of the quake are very impressive.

  • Great theatre space. Shame it doesn't get used much because it's an awesome area. Comfy theatre seats and teched out. Always enjoy the nz international film festival in here.
  • Great museum, a really interesting insight into the Napier earthquake on the basement level. Lots of other exibits in the art levels etc. $10 for a grown up. Cheers!
  • Nice museum for everyone. Interesting artifacts are there. Good experience.
  • What an amazing place... The Earthquake exhibition is fantastic, if not a bit harrowing
  • Great to look through with some very nice pieces. If you've got the time and an eye for art & history then make the stop here.
