  • Disappointing that the signs for a market are just left out every day. They just didn’t happen. There is a rather sumptuous art gallery in here which is deserving of a visit and a little craft shop...

  • The main restaurant has a great menu, great prices and two roaring fires in winter. There is also the added option of Tapas at the Smith Bar. Smiths has great pizza and great weekly specials...

  • Came to this park as we had heard it had yummy food. Certainly enjoyed the tapas and pizza menu. The pizzas especially were fresh, light based and very enjoyable. We had a good look around the park...

  • Great place for kids with train and pony rides and play area as well . Cafe and eatery as well to grab a bite .
  • Market is relaxing but need more than 1 coffee vendor to cater to that many people.
  • For a change we can visit this place and enjoy for shopping, eating and village market.
  • Very cool for our gang of 2 - 4 year old kids they loved it.
  • Matakana Country Park Market Well, it was a rainy day when we visited there were a few food stalls and trucks. We tried the elephant ears (Hungarian fried bread)w/ ham and cheese, it was quite nice, we tried a hot dog and a mussel fritter. Heard from the market organizer, that due to the bad weather, the county park market could be canceled till October.
