A popular recreation area situated between the Waipoua and Ruamahanga rivers, Henley Lake plays home to over 70 species of birds and remains a popular picnic spot among locals. The network of flat trails around the rivers and lake offer an easy way to explore the area on foot or by bike, and also link the lake with Queen Elizabeth Park.
