After a very informative and enjoyable wine tasting we had lunch overlooking the vineyards. It was delicious and turned what was killing time into a beautiful day out.
Always a wonderful venue with stunningly wonderful wine, fabulous food, and world class surroundings. A fan!
Despite the wet weather, the setting of Villa Maria Estate remained picturesque. The food portions were generous and fairly priced. I would definitely recommend Villa Maria for a celebratory meal or special occasion.
Very pleasant surroundings. For the price the service is good, but not perfect, and the food is very good, but not excellent. It's very popular in nice weather or on holidays so make a reservation. It can get very noisy if you're seated inside.

Setting of the winery is very nice if you realize how close it is to a large industrial area. Wasn't really overwhelmed with the three wines served in the wine flight. The main issue is however that the quality of the food is very average, certainly for the price you pay for it. We had the Winemaker's Platter (for 2 people) that sells for $50. It was just a collection of food you can buy at your local supermarket deli for about $20. Zero creativity, nothing actually prepared fresh in the kitchen. We have been to many wineries and this was the worst value for food. Altogether quite disappointing.
Cafe staff are arrongant and rude. But the place is awesome and beautiful, I hope some one will train them on hospitality.
