  • This was the second time we visited Tekapo Springs on our way through from Christchurch to Wanaka. It’s a good time of year to visit as it’s not cold outside but brisk enough to enjoy the heated pools...  more »
  • We went to the hot springs after a few days in the wilderness and the experience was incredible! Really rejuvenating. It's not very big though and therefore might seem expensive.  more »
  • Nice pool complex to relax in, small but nice . Not far from the village. Has a nice are to sit in and you can watch the ice skating.  more »

  • A very relaxing visit after a walk to the observatory. For what it is I think it is fairly priced and the facilities are generally excellent. We were a bit unsure beforehand as to whether this was going to be a natural spring and to clarify this for anyone else it is not. It is a series of man made hot pools but very pleasant all the same. We went during the day so had no opportunity for star having but have no doubt this would be a fantastic spot for it. During the day the reviews over the lake are somewhat restricted by the angle on the hill this is on so you really need to stand up to get the real benefit. A nice setting all the same.
  • An amazing night time star gazing session! The guide was really informative and really knew his stuff. We had a perfect day for star gazing and we were able to see Jupiter. All the staff were extremely professional and helpful with our questions. The hot pools were a fabulous end to the evening.
  • Amazing place. It's possible to find cheaper tickets on book.me. The view in the summer is beautiful, but the view is better in the winter because the ice will be over the mountains. The pools are hot, but at the end of the day the coldest pool will be not good anymore, and the pools are not cover, this mean that you will need to use sunscreen. If you wanna use the sauna, it's necessary to buy a more expensive ticket.
  • Love going to the pools and my daughter loves ice skating. It is a bit pricey but you can stay all day. Went to the slide and had a wee accident. The staff were great, looked after both my daughter and I. Big high five to both of the staff members. We will back Thank you.
  • Even though we went there during end of November, we really enjoyed it. There are three different pools with different water temperatures. There are pay as you go lockers available as well as limited number of pigeon holes near the pools for the towels. There is ample free parking. Price seemed reasonable. And there is a nice little cafe inside the premises as well. Lifeguards are on duty. Not that u would need any in the 3 or 4 feet pools. All in all a nice hot spring pool area with a nice view of Lake Tekapo.
