  • and these ones do not disappoint. We spent two hours there and there is a pleasant range of pools although none of them go quite as hot as i would like, the kids had a great time as usual.
  • Couldn't see the view of lake tekapo from the pools. Great day out with different temperature pools to cool down or walm up. My partner took a mouthfull of water and was pretty crook the next day. If ...  more »

  • Clean, good service. We did all pools + steam/sauna. I would skip the steam and sauna unless you are a die-hard fan. The 40c adults only pool was quite present in the rain. Didn't find any true cold pools. Also, bring your own towel as I did not see any there. Lockers are spacious, $3 for 3h. Lots of families on a Sat afternoon, as expected.
  • Pretty misleading description, caveat emptor: "hot springs" really means heated pool. Which is all very well and nice enough, but a far cry from natural hot springs (that I foolishly assumed I was signing up for). I could have gone to a heated pool back home for a whole lot cheaper – $25 is quite steep for what's on offer. In addition, while we were there the sprinkler system malfunctioned and got my towel and backpack wet, which was not super fun. That said, the staff are professional and there is free wifi, which is nice.
  • I love this place! Nice and quiet especially after dark. Beautiful atmosphere and scenery (if you can see anything through the steam). And a hot chocolate after pool, amazing. We visit every year and my favourite hot pool so far.
  • + Hot springs, sauna and steam. Great view of mountain and sunset. Cafe with reasonably priced food and free WiFi. 1 Adults-only pool. - Pool can be hotter (especially in Winter)
  • This place is fantastic, had a blast using the sauna with the plunge pool. Also heard these guys were going to get some telescopes which will make the place your one stop place in Tekapo.
