  • In the village part restored, some of the constructions with the explanations on a loose sheet at the entrance are interesting, but everything is quite skinny. The Museum Te Papa in Wellington are much better! In part Botanical Garden, hard to navigate between the paper we have between hands and the numbering on the spot. All is not well maintained.

  • Not too much to see - it is only a replica of what the village would have looked like though. Still a good insight into history of the area despite there being not much to see.

  • Beautiful place to walk around and take in some of the local culture rugged and slippery in some places so best to have a good pair of shoes on when going in , also a donation on entry will help keep the village looking nice for others in the future
  • Enjoyable experience. A little upgrade in some parts would help. Would visit again
