  • A very small museum with a few (newish?) artefacts followed by some rotting unmaintained fake village displays. Not worth the risk of walking up the tricky path 
  • Save your $10 and go somewhere else. This place is an absolute joke. The small reasonably informative museum is OK but the rest comprises some ramshackle, falling apart "exhibits" claiming to represen...  more »
  • The best thing about the site is the entrance, modern, well kept, belying the state of the rest of the 'attraction' which is unkept, falling down, and uninformative. The NZ$10 entry fee was robbery.

  • Beautiful place to walk around and take in some of the local culture rugged and slippery in some places so best to have a good pair of shoes on when going in , also a donation on entry will help keep the village looking nice for others in the future
  • Enjoyable experience. A little upgrade in some parts would help. Would visit again
