I have been for a few visits to splash planet. It is so nice when the car park isn't full. Otherwise you are in for lengthy waits in things like the jeeps and bumper boats. The slide lines move very q... read more »
great place but expensive and only open short times of the year. big lines in summer but a great place to chill out on the lazy river or go on the slides.
Great place to visit especially with young kids. Lots to do or just have a picnic or a bbq. Can buy takeaways at the shop if you just want to turn up. Love the lazy river and the water slides
All round good time at Splash Planet - but if you have kids you MUST keep a close eye at ALL times. The "lifeguards" I am not entirely sure what their criteria are, and personally I didn't see them being pro-active. There is an inside area targeted at younger children, and it was of grave concern that the inside slide said "no parents with children" as I went down it alone and there was a part that was pitch dark, and quite rough, and yet it was "suitable" for over two and a half year olds - which is absolutely ridiculous. At the top of the slide and the bottom NO supervision at all. In my opinion this slide should be for over 5 years olds and 5 - 8 year olds with an adult - it seems like a drowning/knocked out situation waiting to happen. I voiced my concerns on the day with staff, who were polite but I am unsure if it was passed on. I am again going to email them, as it really does make me feel so uncomfortable.
I didn't know about this place until I googled things to do near Napier. Such a great day out for the family. Lots of water rides and also areas to play when you don't want to be wet. Will definately go here again.
It's closed until November 14, 2015 - or so the sign days. The date today is April 20th, 2016, 4 months after it should have reopened. Yay.
A good water amusement park. Enjoyable in summers. Lots of variety of rides and activities. Well recommended.
BEST PLACE EVER💖💖💖 Would definitely come here again!!
