  • Very helpful staff. Good home town feel. Relevant displays. Culturally significant. Environment clean and safe. Lovely outside. River trail very close. Lots of food nearby. Centre of town.
  • Awesome exhibition, I especially liked the war canoe and the presentation of the beginning of the world in the maori way
  • We like taking the family here, but it does feel like it suffers from a real lack of funding. Many exhibits are either old or rather boring. A real shame, it could be so much more! Most of the newer content requires an entry fee which isn't cheap for a whole family. The staff are friendly and helpful.
  • Great place to take kids. Lots of interactive activities
  • looking into the future abd the past through art and informative, cultural and scientific mediums
