  • A good range of interesting art exhibitions. Also has a Maori section. Cyrrently a WWII exhibition running till late 2018. Well worth a visit. Stimulating and educational.
  • A diverse collection. From pre-european, to colonial, to the present. Some beautiful works. A caution; some of the exhibits are pay to view.
  • Poor publicity for a great mcCahon exhibition. Pureora forest expose excellent. A must for all kiwis
  • My son is 4 and loves museums so we went and the museum is free but relevant children's area was about $8 per person. What a joke. He loved it and wants to go now everytime we go to Hamilton. But I am not prepared to pay for the child area when the rest is free.
  • This museum is bigger than you expect. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Very knowledgeable The exhibitions are relevant and it is the perfect rainy day stop for families with children. 😀
