  • This zoo is not big, but it's well kept and all the animals look healthy. This is highly recommended to families with kids, allow at least 2 hours if you want to see everything.
  • Really cool zoo. Big range in animals. The animals looked happy and entertained which was nice too. Cool enclosures and friendly staff. Loved the monkeys!
  • We had a great day out, the staff were very friendly and welcoming, price was good as well. Would go back again
  • For me, the best zoo that I've seen. Nice place for families. I really recommend the Face 2 Face experience.
  • An amazing small town Zoo that on some levels beats world class zoo's -Pros, Cost is very reasonable, Large pens for the Animals, you don't feel sorry for them all the time. Just go, you wont be disappointed. -Cons, can be a little awkward to get to on public transit, Would love to see more of the birds in even larger environments.
  • Good selection of animals in natural spacious habitats.
  • A very well maintained and beautiful zoo in the outskirts of the city. Very nicely guided walks across the zoo. Nice facility. Animals seem to enjoy here as well.
  • My kids and I loved this well kept and informative zoo. Its so much quieter than the Auckland zoo and has a more serine feel to it. The animals seem happy and the location is beautiful. A great day out.
