  • This place is great. Awesome play ground for kids. The cafe is great. Had live music when we went there a guy singing and playing a guitar. Great atmosphere.
  • The reserve has a myriad of recreational options that an individual, couple or group can utilise, it's a great place for families and social events to be held. The walkways provide easy access and a relaxing way to spend a few hours taking in the scenery and to observe the bird life, or if your preference is a strict fitness routine or one that is more relaxed and easy going, this is the place to be to achieve your ultimate goal. The wooden walkway that skirts the Southern side restricts cycling, as a safety precaution for the foot traffic that can be frequent at times during the early morning, midday and evening when in use.
  • Great variety of things to do. Walk in lovely natural environment, good cafe, a number of children's playground. Water, trees and Bird life . Very close to CBD
  • We were here to see the hot air balloons. A very chilly morning but the walk and the lake were lovely.
