  • These gardens are beautiful and imaginitively developed. Plan at least half a day here if you like gardens. Toilet facilities all in one area (from what i could see) and the gardens are big.  more »
  • Excellent Park public entrance and free parking, its different sectors are very well set and organized in such a way that allows you to explore them without Miss nothing overlooked. Beautiful gardens very well tended and maintained. It is worth visiting it.

  • The new Katherine Mansfield garden is the latest addition to the themed gardens and it is superb! The cottage garden flowers look gorgeous, and all looks to be in readiness for a “Garden Party”.  more »

  • A great place to hang out on rainless days. The second entrance going toward the river (just past the greenhouse) has a great playground for kids. Walk Southeast and cross the bridge to get to the cafe and the main entrance to the gardens. The other entrance by the roundabout is fine too and has a larger area for parking.
  • Wonderful place to visit any time of year! Great volunteers, great flower show of many varieties, plant sales each month. Great scones with ample jam and cream in the cafe for only $5! Should be a must on any itinerary.
  • Absolutely stunning! This is a must-see attraction if you are visiting the area. Make sure you have at least a few hours to even just walk through it all. Free entrance.
  • I found the Gardens really worth looking at, even on mid-winter when at their least colourful. The design aspect could be easily seen, taken on board and enjoyed. This was born out by the large number of family groups enjoying them, same time, with many youngsters interacting with the designs and also the plants. Well done Hamilton Gardens.
  • You can spend a lot of time here, with lots to see. First of all you can walk around the bridge on the lake, feed the ducks, sometimes spot a turtle. There is a new, awesome kids playground if you have little ones. Then there are many different themes gardens, we loved the Chinese one. And there is a cafe and information centre.
